amazing.... IT was one of the most beautifal trips i've ever been on. It was slighlty more expensive then other Southern American countries but still pretty affordable.
There is a ton to do there, lots of museums and shopping and nature and ruins that are incredible
the rainforests are also gorgeous !

Depends on where you go. I was at Stans Creek. Jungle, jungle, and more jungle. Check out the web sites on Belize, and include the CIA Fact Sheet web site. The screaming monkeys on a full moon can keep you awake. The people speak English, and are in my opinion very nice. Have fun, I did! Did I mention there is a lot of jungle? Oh yeah, I drove there from the US! And Back!

To visit Belize and live there are very different. I know a few Belizeans born in America that have this nostalgic idea of the country. For those of us born and raised in Belize, it's a love-hate relationship. It's adventurous but also boring. The people can be charming but also very ugly. But it's my country, and I love it.

If you want to know your heritage, go to Belize.
