This guy is in school, I know he works a lot, but I am just confused when he says that he doesn't have time for dating. His family isn't all that well off with money and I understand that he is always working, but why can't he make time for dating? Is there another reason why?

Well it probably means he doesnt like you. Or it could be that he doesnt want you to feel like youre not wanted because even when he is not working he is probably busy with school work and he doesnt want you to feel unwanted. My advice is that you should talk to him as a friend and he likes you then regardless of his hectic schedule he'll put some time to the side just for you. And don't make him feel like he needs to buy you things guys always feel that girls are demanding gifts when girls sometimes just would rather spend time with him.

There might be another reason why but he's being polite by answering your question the best way he can.
Maybe he can't afford to date. Maybe his parents won't allow him to date. Maybe he doesn't want to go out with you.
It really isn't any of your business to try and figure out his reasons for not dating. Accept his answer and move on.

well I went out with this girl a few weeks ago and I just simply havent had the time to call her since and go out again. I study alot at school, and trying to run a business at 17. Taking out an evening to spend time is difficult!
Plus she was a bit of hippie... even if she did have a VERY sexy accent =P and pretty cool little house in the middle of no where.... hmmmm I think I'd better get to the phone!

This guy has to work and attend school. I am sure he doesnt have time to date like others his age. How can he work and go to school and devote time to studying? Not all people are fortunate enough to have a choice of not working. When you are at school pack a lunch and ask him to join you or ask to study with him. Make a effort to see things his way.

does it matter? he either doesn't have time for dating, or he doesn't like you. if his family isn't well off, and he's working hard - then that should be your answer. is it more important for his family to starve? or for you to have a good time. a bit selfish if you ask me.

Either he really is too busy and does not have time for dating, or... he dosn't have time for dating YOU. Could be he's trying to be polite without just telling you no.

No, it's pretty cut-and-dried. He has no time to date — he's got WORK to do. Just leave him alone. Even if he did hook up with you, you'd just be an afterthought.
