Based on some of the answers I've been reading over the last couple of months it seems like everyone is eating way too much fat (especially transfats), too much processed food, too much fast food and way too much sugar.

I read so very little about fruits, vegetables and whole grains but so much about frying food, making desserts and just generally loading food with non-essential and unhealthy ingredients.

Well if I were eating food that was not filled with grease, fat, and cholesterol, the quality of my life would be seriously diminished. As far as the length of my life.....perhaps I should look at my 87 year old grandmother who eats nothing but deep fried, fatty foods and lives a wonderful life at 87.
