there is a modleing/singing/acting/dancing thing at a hotel and it's an open call and i really think i can do it but i don't want to be scammed. Also I'm not rich and i'm plus size, but i can sing. really good too i think i can do it, but will being middle calss and plus size hurt my cahaces i'm not ugly i kinda look like a mini Gueen latifa lol

If they ask you for $ then they are not legit!
If they say "You have talent but you need to take our classes" not legit.

Aretha was never skinny, and she's the real "Queen" Queen Latifah's pretty damn good too. Most opera singers aren't skinny either. The thing is, can you Really, really, belt it out? You gotta answer that.

I will tell you that "talent agencies" themselves never chargeup front, they work off a percentage. A lot of these"open calls" are scams.

Stay away from any agency that wants to charge you for pictures. Yes, pictures do cost money, but if they require you to use their photographer, makeup artist, vocal coach, or anything of the sort, I'd walk away.
