A friend of mine is trying to figure out if her husband cheated on her. he didnt appear drunk but a bottle of 32 oz jim bean is missing about 24oz and he claimed he drunk it over a 6-7 hr period.

Is this feasable? he's in great shape. and didnt appear drunk.

Well, 24 oz. is 12 shots in a six hour period is two shots an hour. Many variables exist to your question Does he drink often, did he eat before drinking and what did he eat, Meat and potatos or a salad (salad would not be solid enough to help him stay sober) and was he doing shots od mixing drinks. You need to ask there questions because if he was drinking 3 shots an hour when he started and 1 shot an hour when he finished on an empty stomach and his tolerance was down then yes he was drunk. Plus some people play it off well.

6-7 hours is a long time. Its like me going to the bar, and have 1-2 beers every hour, you could drink forever and never appear buzzed or drunk. Also depends on your body weight too and tolerance to alcohol.

It'd be equal to about 12 full shots. 2 drinks per hour. It's feasible. He'd be drunk, but probably not super drunk. A hard core drinker could do that easily.

If he's lying, he'd be lying about the time he took to drink it.

Sounds like he had 2 other women over, 8 oz each. 3 ways.

I'm not familiar with Jim Bean. Is it some sort of wine?

yes..over that long of a period, about 7 hours..it is possible that he is not wasted...

I know many people who do it and I have done it during Nascar races and concerts..start drinking early, and drink slowly all day...
