I was reading about this on the internet earlier. Warm milk and turkey both have tryptophan, which can help you fall asleep. Other things that were mentioned were bananas and oatmeal, although I do not remember what the both of these do.

Well, when I was little (and sometimes still today) if I can't fall asleep I make myself a super warm cup of milk and a spoonfull of honey. That usually knocks me out. I know that turkey and beef make this thing called "itis" and thats what makes you tired. Remember Thanksgiving? LOL. So have some meat and then warm milk to pass out like a baby :)
