I reccommend the British Virgin Islands; in particular the island of Anegada and Carries Island Comfort Inn on Tortola.

Anegada is a quiet romantic place where you and your spouse can really kick back and relax. You can rent a house right on the beach, sunbathe during the day and then have a romantic lobster dinner for 2. Carries Island Comfort Inn on Tortola is another excellent choice. The romms are very comfortable with the most excellent view of the beach and surrounding area I have ever seen. it is 3 mins driving from the beach and is very private and comfortable.

Check out the website and see for yourself. The British Virgin Islands are georgeous.

On my honeymoon we went on a cruise. Although the cruise itself was a little busy with people, the fact that you just had to walk to the next event was really nice. The best part was when they docked at the island of Coco Kay. The island was big enough so that you could look around you and not see people. There were hammocks set up everywhere, banana boat rides, lawn chairs set up in the shallow part of the ocean, cabana boys who came around offering you drinks, it was just really quiet and nice to spend that alone time with your new spouse. So the cruise offered a balance between buffets, dancing, gym, gambling, shuffle board, spa, and the island escape. To me that was great for a honeymoon. And really fairly inexpensive. For 3-4 grand you could have a killer honeymoon.

I have never been outside of the US, so all I can tell you is the places here. They have moutain top chalets in Gatlinburg, Tenn that are very romantic. Hawaii is a great place to go, Maui seems to be the place to go. Walt Disney World, stay at one of the better on-site hotels. You won't have to drive a car once while you are down there, they have on-site transportation.

That depends on personal preference. No standard answer. Some people may say Hawaii, others hate Hawaii.
