I would also like to know if the obsolete letter "stigma" even has a pronounciation. I understand that "stigma" is a combination of sigma and tau, but I don't know if it has a special pronounciation. Does digamma sound like the English "w"? Thank you if you are able to help me understand how to pronounce these letters.

Girl there are no such lettes in greek as digamma and stigma, no such names i mean. Were did u read that? Maybe u mean the combination letters TS ( TΣ- tav sigma) and double gamma. Ts is pronounced as it can be pronounced if u try saying those letters together. That is Ch like in Chilli, (just not that "fat" , we dont form s in the upper back part of the mouth in greek but in the front, right behind the teeth so it sounds more fine, like a whistle.) Double Gamma sounds like G in great and someties like ng. Single gamma is the weird letter, the sound that cannot be exactly explained (Γ), sometimes it sounds kind of like Wh in why or what but not exactly, anyway that's as close as u can get with an english comparishment. G in some spanish words is almost like it, like in Granada, but if and i follows it sounds more like spanish double L. Chi (X) has no real equivalent in english either, it's closer to the german CH, the english h sound is to weak to describe it. Maybe u r familiar with spanish? It's a lot like J in Juan or Jose. In general, greek and spanish, although there are not closely related share almost all sounds. That might help.

PS. Stigma is not a letter, it is a word and it means mark, stain, spot, blemish, plural stigmata, that's were the religious term stigmata somes from.
