My business depends on the customer being happy, It's the most important thing. I want my customers to stay at my hotel and leave with the hope that if in town they will return due to the way they were treated. Sometimes it's very hard, but you have to do everything you can.

Well having good customer service skills is good in the working environment and towards the customers as well. When you communicate effectively and make your customers feel comfortable about the store products that's what brings them back. Who want to go to a store with poor customer service? No one would. Rememer when customers go into a store they want quick service with open and reliable communication from the workers.

Real world, I purchased a TV and a Printer. I purchased an extended warranty that covered lightning strikes. when i was struck by lightning both the TV and the printer failed. The insurance company for the extended warranty was an out side company the TV repair was an inside company. It took over 6 mos to get my TV replaced with 3 trips from repair person and 15 phone calls to all involved parties. The retail store and the repair man where in cahoots to scam the insurance company out of a replacement TV and the parts to repair and re-sale my old TV. I was not very happy. Even after it was all done. The printer out of ink and 9mos old (1yr factory warranty) was picked up in 1 day and replaced within 1 week with new ink cartridges taking only one phone call. I was very happy. (customer satisfaction) So I guess when customer satisfaction is your goal and all internal service work to accomplish that goal then customer service satisfaction prevails.

If I receive good customer service I'm more than likely to return to the store/business.

Good customer service keeps customers coming back for more rather than going to the next store where coustomer service stinks.

When I receive great customer service, it has the ability to turn a bad day into a great one!

When I receive bad customer service, I NEVER return to that business, and actively seek out thier competator to fill my need. This would be my reason for never returning to McD's. It never fails, they treat me like crap when I go in to give them MY money!
Sad really, Ray Kroc would be so disappointed.

I will pay more for goods and services if I'm treated well, and I'm not made of money.
