My fiance and I are paying for our wedding this summer and have agreed not to spend alot of money on valentine's day. Any ideas for a nice gift?

Whip up a nice and warm home-cooked meal with lots of thoughts and love in it. I'm sure he will appreciate it.

Not sure what "not a lot of money" means to you, but being aq college student, I've had to be economical.

I used rosepetals from the roses he had previously given me once and I laquered a wooden box with them and glued felt on the inside for a place to keep his cufflinks. Craft stores are great. If you don't like that specific idea, walk thorugh a craft store anyway, you might be inspired seeing alll the tools there are there to work with.

I also drew a portrait in charcoal of us from a photo that was taken of us. If you are not so artistically inclined, ask a friend if they'll do it for you and offer to toss them a couple bucks. Cheap and personal and special, but not too girly. Put it in a nice manly frame (gunmetal, black leather, chrome...)

The best gift I gave my boyfriend was a pair of silk boxers. Very sexy, he modeled them for me of course. Here are some more ideas that are all under $20. My boyfriend says that the best gift is a strip tease. So that's an idea.
small box of chocolates
new universal remote for all his other remotes
g string underwear
his favorite magazine
a nudy magazine
a cool t shirt like old navy
a manicure or moutstache kit
body oils
his fav movie on DVD
Coupons for sex or back rubs made by you

One of my most memorable valentines day was when this guy I was dating bought a bunch of fruit: kiwi, strawberry, melon, bananas. He set up candlelight on a small table in the living room with soft romantic music and a blanket on the floor. He had cut up the fruit in bite size pieces and we fed each other. It was heavenly!

What about a drive somewhere & have a picnic?
As long as the romance is there for Valentines then you don't need anything else.

Some wild (emphasis on the wild part) whoopie. It's free and gratifying for both parties.
