I have been best friends with my actual boyfriend for about 2 years. We recently started dating about 4 months ago.... but he is mormon and will be going on his mission in April. The only way we are able to communicat is throug mail. We love each other so much but i dont know if our love will survive just by writing letters for 2 years. I love the guy and i do hope we end up together in the end? Do you belive that it is possible for a relationship to last just by writing letters for two years without seeing each other???

The fact that you didn't dump him the second he told you about this 2 year hiatus, proves that you do love him.

Now can it survive, sure it can , but it will test your love for him, if you do really love him it will be easier, if the love is not that strong you will begin to take another path.

Of course it can last, but I wouldn't be too concerned about it. You should continue living your life and not put anything on hold just because he is going on a mission. Don't be a distraction to him either. Have a good time, date, live the college life, etc. while he's gone. If it works out when he gets back, great.

It is possible and people have done it. This is up to you. If he is on his mission for his church, I doubt he is out looking for a new girlfriend. You are the one who has to wait. Now, based on that, the question really is: Are you willing to wait two years for his return?

Whats a mormon? E-mail that to me. But if its like the army, yes you should keep going on with him. Other wise no once you ask that question, its time to break up.

Girl I can say that all you need to do is get you a good and long toy and do not worry about it because if you love him enough then you would not mind waiting.
