Can't get much better than the original CROSS BREED. They have a beauty all of their own. Posses something that no other dog can. Make you laugh, Make you cry, Amaze you with their intelligance, Grace, speed or athletic ability. Also, Mixed Breeds aren't prone to genetic problems that pure breed dogs are!

I really like Chihuahuas. My brother, he saved up some money so he could by a dog. There was this Chihuahua in the paper for only $100. So, he bought him. He named him Taquito. Just a couple months after we had him he got hit by a car. It was dark and rainy. He waas hurt bad. My mom took my brother and the dog to the vet the next day. The vet told us that Taquito had broken his back and lost control of going to the bathroom. We had 2 options, put him down or put him in a wheel-chair. We decided to go with the wheel-chair since my brother was so attached to the dog. We were trying to save up money to buy the wheel-chair but we couldn't afford it with our financial problems. He was doing fine for the first year. He just lost his legs from like the carpet and getting rug burn. His "stubs" got infected. The infection spread throughout his body. He died about a month into the school year. The interesting thing was that when he died, he died with one of his ears perked up. It was the sweetest thing. He was buried by our old oak tree in the backyard, with his favorite blanket. It was sad. But, it was the best for him. He was just getting worse Thats why I love Chihuahuas. If you actually read the story...thanks for your time! :(

Although I've always wanted a collie (ever since watching "Lassie" as a child), for me, a poodle is truly my favorite breed: highly intelligent, easily trained, non-shedding/allergic, and very manageable.

I had a poodle for 17-1/2 years; and when she passed away, it was like losing a very best friend ...

BOXER

I got my first one when i was 5 for my xmas we called her bess she was brindle and white she was great the kids next door would sit on her back and she would carry them about..Sadly she got knocked down the night before we came back from hols and died we had her 9 yrs..

I got a boxer for my boys as they are great with kids they are also very loyal and they never lose their cute puppy look you just want to cuddle them always. We called her skye she was red brindle she took bone cancer at 17 months old and we had to have her put to sleep...

We now have Tia (boxer) she is red brindle she is great they all have their own personalitys Tia is more vocal and stubborn but we just adore her she is just coming up 6 months she does saumersaults when playing with her toys she never chews on anything in the house she can be left alone for a couple of hours she just lays on the couch and sleeps..

Boxer are great they can bounce around a lot and they love attention but if you train them right.. They will give you loads of love in return and they are smart they have excellent temprament and do the funniest of things ...

If I have to pick one, it would be Boston Terriers. My Boston has the best personality. She will look you dead in the eye when you talk to her, she's friendly to everyone (although strangely and annoyingly loyal to my husband(can you hear my jealousy?)) She sleeps between us in bed every night, and I don't think I could sleep without her now. She sometimes sleeps on her back with her paws all in the air and she sits up on her haunches like a person on the couch. It's so funny. The way she reacts when we talk to her is like she really understands; her tail goes 90 to nothing when we pay any attention to her. She loves to play and run around. She's smart too. She knows her name, momma, daddy, and my kids' names, as well as "go outside, go potty," and "wanna bite?" for eating, and "give a kissy" is for wet smooches. We really love her alot. I've spoken to many Boston owners, and all of them are just as crazy about theirs. Here are some Boston Terrier sites.

The English Mastiff because I love the big guys and these are the biggest. They are also the most tame and docile of all breeds and have no agression in them. They are loving and bond closely with their human. They are literally a living, breathing stuffed animal come to life. They are not cheap. A good breeder charges alot and when it comes to routine vet care, it's more expensive because of their size and weight their immunizations require more medicine which costs more. I have found however, they are worth it.

Basset Hounds. They just crack me up with their howl. They also have such short legs, they cant jump on furniture, major plus. When most people see them, it makes them smile. The are also friendly and sweet.
However, there are many good dog breeds out there!

I'd say Bichon Frise. I love mine, his name is Hawkeye (Think of M*A*S*H).
Bichons are very sweet and intelligent. They also have funny quirks. My dog has a paws-thing that he does, he sits up on his haunches and sort of flaps his paws together when he wants something. It's really cute, and he doesn't bark unless absolutely necessary (Like when he wants a treat). Bichons are very lovable, and will love you no matter what. Plus when you talk to a Bichon, they tilt their heads to the side like they are interested (or maybe think you're a moron, like mine). Oh did I mention the attitiude?
