In not that great looking, but i'm the nicest guy any one knows. I've never been on a date, though. Should I work out or try to make myself attractive? Or should I just let it happen?

this is normally the way society works... girls like bad boys... reasoning?? bad boys are usual confident, can take care of themselves, thus being able to take care of the girl... nice boys are generally shy, lacking in confidence, and there is little to slim chance that they would do anything to betray the woman... sure on paper it sounds like the "nice" guy would be the safer bet, but unfortunately that rarely is the case...
it's a little sad that u are contemplating working out to try and get a date, that should be something that u do for yourself... but then again maybe it would be a good idea, packing on the muscles might build your confidence, and that right there will help u out more than good looks or being a bad boy...

There are always girls, and guy too, that are only concerned with looks. The problem with looks is that they change with time - usually not favorably. So anyone that is hung up on looks will get exactly what they deserve - sooner or later. Usually sooner than they think! If you are a nice guy, as you say, then you will find a nice gal out there. She is waiting for you too - you just have to find each other! Just don't hold to the same standards as those who judge your looks by only looking for a girl based solely on how physically attractive she is. That is called being a hypocrite!

Just let it happen. I am average looking, I guess, I sorta resemble a snake, someonme told me, but I have a great personality, and though I don't have a bf, I have lots of friends, and thats whats important. I like your pompadour hairstyle, by the way.

personality is really important. if a guy is a jerk no matter how good looking they are i wouldnt want to be with them. i mean yeah looks do play into it but is definatly not the most important thing. just be yourself.

You probably ARE attractive and just don't know it. You'll find someone, it's inevitable because of the way that women outnumber men.
