It is normal and if you aren't ready for a serious relationship - then you should not enter into one. However, fooling around has many meanings - and if fooling around involves sexually compromising a girl, it isn't fair to the girl for you to take advantage of or objectify her. Whatever you do, always be up front and honest about how you feel and that you are not ready to enter a serious relationship. As long as you are honest and upfront, then at least the girls you are with know where they stand and then can make a decision for themselves whether they want to "fool around" with you or not. Regardless, respect their space and their decision.

Having physical relationships with girls is a normal and healthy part of being your age.
Here's where it gets complicated: What you think is serious and what they think is SERIOUS may be two different things.
Being up front about everything is the best way to avoid this: That you like them, but it's more physical than a serious relationship interest. "Fooling around" with them isn't a sign that you are making a commitment to them. That way they have the choice of telling you if they are up for that or not.
Do I have to mention protection? All the time? With EVERYONE? I'd hope not -- but STD's or a pregnancy will bring the sowing of your wild oats to a rapid (and possibly painful) stop.

Yes it's normal, doesn't mean you have to act on it. Be a man and do the honorable thing. Date a girl if you like but don't get physical. Wait for the right women to be intimate with. Girls generally want the relationship, guys don't, not when they are young. So the girl is often to then to get hurt.

I'd say that it's normal. Just be careful. Don;t let it get out of control. If a girl doesn;t agree, then be a gentleman. You also have to understand that girls don;t forget things as fast as a guy. You might be better off playing with yourself than a girl. It may save you some trouble.

It is normal, and as long as the girls know you really don't want a relationship (REALLY make it clear), there is nothing wrong with it either. Just be sure that if you are sexually active that you really pile on the protection.

99.99% of young guys would rather do this than have a relationship.
Yes it's normal. Real men know the real secret to a relationship though. Less work!
