I'm a really big fan of chocolate brown with light blue. They seem to complement each other in a really great way.

I really like the chocolate brown as an accent to light blue. As an alternative, I also like mint green.. the combination is really nice for a beach type theme. The chocolate brown and light blue is more last years colors, while the combination with green is pretty big right now.

I think a nice off white or cream would be pretty as far as carpet or borders or molding are concerned. Yellow is also a nice option. Light blue is a great color and has many options. Those are just my personal favorites. Good luck!

You could always go with a darker shade of blue too...but if you want to stay with the lighter colors, just about any pastel will be o.k. Yellow and blue compliment each other well:) And white is always an option!
Good Luck!

White! Apparently research by advertisers indicates that consumers find the most appealing colour combination to be blue and white.

Also with light blue walls, white will continue a bright, airy theme.

orange is the opposite of blue, so you could go with a peach. yellow is also nice and cream is always good. or a light green could look nice as well.
