Well there is this guy that ive been seeing for about a month, and we had been talking about 2 months before. In the beginning we talked everynight for about 2-3hrs, now it seems hes always too busy and we talk only for about a half an hour at most! Also he used to call me a few times a day, and now it is down to about once every other day. It seems like he is distant and is not interested anymore but when we do talk he tells me he loves me and wants to be with me. He also seems that he doesnt make and effort to see me. Also because I am younger than him and hes allowed to go to bars that im not allowed to go in im afraid hes cheating, he also is known to be the player type. Alot have people have told me I shouldnt be in a relationship with him, but I like him soo much, I just wish he would be the same guy I started talking to. I dont know if I should pursue a relationship with him or break it off?!? Ive tried to gain his interest but it seems impossible. What should I do?

This sounds so much like something I've been through. So the way I see it is, you can keep pursuing the relationship but know that your anxieties aren't going to go away and it won't get any better. I think you should break it off with him, even though it will be hard. You will be able to find someone else you like and who will be into you 100%. You deserve it!

WHy do you wish that? Because he is not.
NO one can make someone change and it is an effort in futility to try.

None of your friends (the people that I presume you trust) thinks that this is the person for you!
he has a reputation of being a 'player',
he does not show YOU interest
and has several different personalitites emerge from the time you met him until now
and you say that you 'just like him'
I cannot for the life of me see why?
then you go on to say you want to 'break off'
what is it that you are breaking off.
A player that does not have an interest in a girl is a real sight to behold
You should not date him or anyone else until you figure out what it is about you that makes you like a creep like him

Hun, you said it yourself: he's not the same guy that you liked anymore. The ones that are keepers don't change for the worse when you get involved. The longer you go out, the more romantic he should get, since you get to know one another better. Break it off, he's not doing his job.

Your mom should have told you: what you see is what you get....and when the shine of newness wears off, what you are left with is the person. Not comfortable? Don't try to change him, just move on.
