Atheist morality is thought through, looking to cause the least harm.

Believers morality is based on the Book of choice, refers to authority, depends on the reward at the end of life, and can cause harm. (For example, even though it would benefit both society and gay couples to allow same-sex marriage, because the Bible protests against homosexuality, hoards of Christians are blocking its passage in most states in the union, all because of the book. This harms people.)

What's more, Christians can ask god for forgiveness and they don't have to take any further responsibility. Atheist are responsible for anything we do, to the people we harm.

Atheists morals come from human nature & instinct. Believers morals are based on what has been force fed to them since birth, and in some cases what has been brainwashed into them later in life.

while atheists are portrayed as immoral people, quite to the contrary, there are less atheists in prison than christians, which is saying a lot, seeing as this country has a majority of christians. this is possibly due to the fact that atheists rely on their natural born ability to feel empathy, compassion, and concern for others, while religious people use bribery like heaven and blackmail like hell to keep their people in order.

Vastly superior since its based on being good for its own sake and respecting other human beings - not sucking up to an egocentric sky-fairy greedy for praise.

Besides its atheist morality that is prevalent - even among most christians - thats why people can tell that God was being an evil git when he wanted to see if Abraham would kill his son, not to mention the genocide he ordered against various tribes.

Atheists don't believe that drowning, sickening, slaughtering, and/or barbecuing millions, or commanding others to hurt and kill people, are "loving" or moral.

Atheists don't need a book or a list or a deity to tell them not to steal, lie, or kill people. We treat others kindly because WE want to, not because we think a sky fairy is watching us.

Atheists take responsibility for their own actions, rather than blaming them on a made-up devil or asking for a 'Get Out of Jail Free' Card.

An Atheist if he/she has morality will be higher than that of a believr, in that the Athesist has arrived at his/her high standing with open eyes and no fixed rules or pre-conceptions to box him/her in.

believers alwasy say 'god wants us to' or 'the bible/holy book says' ect to explain there actions
and
atheists say they do the things they do just to be a good person and they don't have a paradigm to look up to. its more socail custom, family, and natural conscious. (but many belivers think that god gave us that conscious)

athesits are also more intrisicly motivated- they do good for good's sake
believers are more extrisicly motivated- they try to please god for rewards in heaven.

In a simple way, our lives, as children of God has the purpose to prepare us to the next life. In to order attain the presence of God, we must toil in this world. To improve ourselves we practice virtues.
The person who is not interested in God and His wisdom, the goals are aimed at this earthly life. The goodness is guided by morals.

Not much. We just say it comes from different places. I tend to use the word ethics, though, instead of morals. That's just me.

Edited to add:

I think that post up above was the fasted cut and paste I've ever seen.

Congrats! ;-)
