Porcupine needles and horse hair.
They could have made a tiny hole in the base of the neddle with another neddle or something else sharp, threaded horse hair through it, and stiched them together. Also, fig leaves are more durable than other types of leaves, thus they most likely held the stiching better and longer.

I would think this is a plausible idea as any.
No one can tell you, because the scripture does not say HOW they did so, simply that they did.

that is an thrilling concept, notwithstanding the context of the passage about cursing the fig tree shows some thing else (Matthew 21). word that merely earlier the fig tree incident, Jesus cleared the moneychangers out of the temple. And merely after the fig tree the subsequent passage is decrease back contained in the temple lower back. This time he has a disagreement with the governmentmonks and elders. that is person-friendly contained in the Bible for a important aspect to be defined by technique of two similar issues merely earlier and after it (like bookends). right here the point is that the temple and the worship established in it are finished. It had develop into corrupt and can want to be cursed and wither like the fig tree, which subsequently turned right into a demonstration of the temple. In Genesis, the fig leaf overlaying had extra to do with Adam and Eve attempting to conceal themselves as if to conceal their sin. do not ignore that the first component they knew at the same time as that they had sinned become that they were bare. Nakedness itself isn't sin, notwithstanding the shame of understanding our nakedness is equated to the shame of understanding our sin. for sure it did not cover or conceal the reality. Later God offered a overlaying of animal skins. the point there become extra that God substances the overlaying or that God substances the forgiveness. the merely correct overlaying might want to for sure be Jesus. Jesus is the guy who finally "lined" our sins, gave us forgiveness. Now that i imagine about it, there will be a diffused, distant connection. clone of the fig leaf, a human answer, did not artwork for Adam and Eve, perchance the fig tree (symbolizing the temple) is likewise a human answer that did not artwork. nonetheless we should be careful no longer to stress too a lot meaning on some thing in completely diverse contexts. strong, thrilling question.

They had animals in the garden so maybe it was by animal hair. They could pull out some of the hair out of the animal and use it like thread. I am being totally serious. I never thought about it. And maybe used a branch like a needle and the hair like thread. It could be possible. I am trying to be serious. I am not being funny. It is a thought tho.
