Well, I have a chihuahua (no offense taken), and she definitely is a tiny dog with a big attitude. No breed is entirely perfect, but we've done a good job training her -- she is totally housebroken, hardly sheds, and only barks for a few minutes when people come to the door. Took awhile for her to master all of these issues, but now she is a great little dog whom my husband and I get the biggest kick and enjoyment out of.
So, my point is, that no matter what the breed is and its supposed characteristics are, you can overcome them with a little patience and a lot of love!

First off, Lets go back to the 1st grade and learn how to spell shall we? It's spelled ChiHuaHua. Ok, now that we have that cleared up, yes, the improperly bred, over bred, from backyard breeder Chihuahua's are annoying... and why is that? because these backyard breeders don't know what they're doing and breed dogs that resemble the breed and call them purebred, so they think they can get a few hundred dollars out of them. Now, if you're smart, you'll avoid those breeders all together, and go to a really good reputable breeder, like I did. Then you'll be able to get a well bred, properly socialized puppy. It is up to the owner, then to properly train the puppy to not bark, to obey.... and if the dog then turns out to be obnoxious, it is whose fault? not the dogs..... It's the owner's fault.... so why should you say such things as you have? when it is not the dog's fault at all, but the person's? I will let you know, that my Chihuahua is a wonderful, well mannered dog, and that no one will ever be able to say that she is in anyway annoying.

I love lap dogs....they are adorable and most of them are so sensitive and lovable. Chiuauas are so cute and I've always wanted one but I don't think I could stand losing another dog. We've had a Yorkshire Terrier who lived for 15 yrs and a Pekingese who also lived for 15 yrs. It broke our hearts when they died. The Yorkie was the friendliest to anyone and everyone...she was barely 4 lbs.

the chihuahua was not trained right. and a lot of people do that because they think just because they are small dogs they do not need the training. but as l have said before, l have a service chihuahua and she is not annoying. when she barks it is for a good reason. so if there are chihuahua out there that are annoying then it is only because they were NOT TRAINED PROPERLY.

No, they are cute and good lap dogs. I've met a few that didn't fit the stereo type of that. I think it is important to instill a easiness in them young and do things not to bring out that nervous bossy stuff...

No, I rather like chihuahuas. Poor English usage is rather annoying, though.
