The Absolute Poker freeroll will gain you entry into the 100k guaranteed tournament (meaning there will be at least $100,000 in the prize pool). You do not have to pay to enter the freeroll, and if you finish in the top 3 you will get a ticket to the $100k tournament. Entry into the $100k tournament is $216, so it's a pretty decent prize for a freeroll. There are usually a lot of entries into the freeroll, so your chances of finishing in the top 3 are pretty low unless you are able to play very well AND get very lucky.
In order to enter the freeroll you will need to download the Absolute Poker software from http://www.absolutepoker.com and then create a new account. The freeroll will be listed under the "tournaments" tab in the main lobby, then the "freeroll" tab in the tournaments section.
I finished 18th in this freeroll the one time I've played in it - but I wouldn't expect to do even that well most of the time. There will usually be close to 1000 entries in the freeroll.

A freeroll tournament is when there is no buy in to the tournament. anyone can enter
