I'm pregnant and my job is increadibly stressful. My boss yells at me and I have a lot of extreme pressure to produce a high level of job performance on a daily basis. I often find myself hiding in a closet crying on my break usually on a daily basis.
Do you think this atmosphere is damaging to the fetus? Do you think my doctor will grant me a medical leave of absence for this environment?

if in fact your boss is treating you the way you say.I would think any good Dr. would prefer you in a different atmosphere. If you can prove that this boss is treating so cruelly. You may have a harassment you can slap him with.Make sure you have proof.Don't rely on co-workers that say they will back your accusations.Remember their jobs would be on the line

You should tell your Doctor about these conditions, and he should recommend to your employer an early maternity leave.

When he does, begin to look for another job.
