my dear candypickle i go way beyond the dark place. but there is room in this body of self deprecating bones and skin to give love enough to support us both

If you are a black man with white teeth and eyes. Kind of makes it obvious you can't hide in the dark if you smile.
Like how do you hide a zebra? In a snow storm in the forest? On railway crossing signs?

no hide in direct sunlight. that way when they try to find you they will be blinded by the sun and unable to see you
