I have a few points to make here. First, I don't believe in then rapture. No where in the bible does it say rapture. It talks about the second coming of Christ, and a little about the millenia, but nothing about the rapture.
Next, I don't think it matters what relgion you are, if you live your religion and really believe and have faith in your religion, then you will be judged by that, not if you are a christian or not.
Then we have your statement about what will be going on after what you call the rapture. That is already happening. Look at the world today and then tell me that isn't true. I don't think the mark of the beast is an actual mark. I think it's something we bring on ourselves, by our actions, that shows others we aren't living the way our religion tells us to. Look at all the people who think they can become "perfect" through plastic surgery. No one is perfect without huge boobs, perfect nose jobs and perky butts. Also, look at all the people right now who think that partying and having fun are more important then anything else in life, and who only work so they can go out and have fun with their friends.
There is very little respect for elders now days, no respect for work ethic or for taking pride in your work. To a lot of guys now, if they can't get in your pants by the end of the first date, they won't date you again. Or if you don't drink or go to clubs, you are seen as weird by most of the general population.
I don't drink, smoke, drink coffee, have sex with anyone but my husband and I go to church every week I don't have a sick kid. I try to live my religion and try to live a good life, and for that I'm seen as a fundamentalist nutjob that has no ability to control my own life. Most think that I've been brainwashed and can't think for myself.
I have met so many people from other religions that are wonderful people. They have morals, and they believe their religion. They live their lives the best way they can. Most of these people are either muslims or other religions that most look down on. If we could look at others, not for what they believe or what religion they are, but for who they are as a person, I think we could learn a lot. Maybe we should all learn something about what someone else believes. It might not be the same thing we think, but what could it hurt to be more knowledgeable about something other then what we think?

I wouldn't be doing anything different than I am now. "Sinning" to the extreme does not appeal to me.
I don't need a big sky papa or raptured Christians to keep me and people like me from being bad. We're can be just as good or mean as the best or meanest Christians... we're human as y'all are.
Sorry to disappoint.
I said it before and I'll say it now. Jesus would kick your self-reichous butts off the clouds for judging and sneering at people who believe differently from yourself.
Put down the game controller. You won't be playing "Left Behind: Eternal Forces" in real life (Well, unless you are a murderous psycho with delusions of grandeur!).

Pascal's wager:
"If god exists, it's infinitely better to believe, since you get heaven instead of hell for eternity. If he doesn't, it doesn't matter since you're dead anyway. So overall it's better to believe"
This is, of course, false.
Some of the problems with the argument:
* The implied assumption that god may exist (with a 50% probability, no less!)
* The assumption that there is an afterlife with a heaven and hell
* The assumption that the god cares about belief in him/her above all else
* The assumption that if you believe in a god, it will definitely be the same god that actually exists.
* The assumption that you lose nothing if it's false. You have lost a great deal, from time praying to a nonexistent entity (somebody mentioned just today praying several hours a day!!!) to morality (your god may ask you to hurt other people) and much more besides.
* The assumption that people can believe in something simply because it benefits them. Would you believe goblins exist for twenty bucks? Why not?
* The assumption that any god won't see through the "believing just to get into heaven" ploy.

Yes, you are partly correct. We indeed will, “be having huge orgies in the streets and drugs and alcohol will be consumed to the maximum”.
However, we will be doing it in Heaven, partying like dogs with God and a few hundred angel-babes, and laughing at the big goof you all fell for.
Don’t worry, we’ll still let you in after you learn your lesson. Gotta go, Jesus and Mohammed just showed up with the kegs.

There will be no rapture and I expect I will be long gone before the end of the Earth. So I will do nothing. It should be abundantly clear to everyone that has the intelligence to read and write that all the rhetoric in the bible concerning the End Times is a lot of nonsense. BB

Uh, I'm not really into orgies. Or drugs. Or alcohol.
People do sinful things today (according to you) without the Mark of the Beast, so what exactly is the difference?
Unless what...? Unless we kick "the Beast" out of power? Okay, then.

You cannot call yourself a religious person, you are less a believer than ANY Atheist or Agnostic!
You do not even understand the basic principals of religion!!
Grow up, and get a life, while you still have one!

Wow, that sounds like fun... except I don't drink, or do drugs and I think the orgy thing might interfere with my happy relationship. So, how about I just um... get alot of really good backrubs?

I'll make a fortune selling shirts printed with "I Sold My Soul to the Christian Church and All I Got Was this Lousy T-Shirt." Then, when Jesus finishes killing all the Christians for making him look like a schmuck for the last 2000 years, I'll get on the flying saucer with "Bob" and go to the planet of the Sex Goddesses.

I'm ALREADY allowed and/or able to have orgies and to consume drugs and alcohol, and buy anything. I don't do (or miss) any of that now, and there's no reason to assume that will change. Enjoy your sick little fantasies.
