a goat is tethered to the edge of a circular field,
the field has a radius of 20 metres,
the owner of the field only wants the goat to be able to graze on half of the field,

its not 20 metres, that would anable the goat to graze less than half the field
you need to start by working out the area of the circle ten working out the width of the eclipse that gives you an area of half the circle, take the width away from double the radius and then you have your answer

it would be a length more than the radius, its not 5 meters, also circular fields do have edges, the have 1 edge that goes all the way around
