I absolutely LOVE being with him and talking to him in person but on the phone it's just kinda boring...is that bad? Has anyone ever had this? I really do love being with him, we have so much fun but for some reason the phone is just so blah.

As long as you enjoy his company and spending time with him and talking to him otherwise, I think you are okay. Some people are not good at talking on the phone - it could be that he's one of these people. I am okay at talking on the phone, but I am one who would much rather see the person's face and talk to them in the flesh. It could be that you are a bit more like that - you like the connection you get when you can actually engage him conversation face to face and look him in the eye at the same time. On the other hand, if you were having trouble talking to him in person as well, then that could signal a problem. Otherwise, if you have good communication outside of the phone (and I mean real communication, not just in the bedroom) I wouldn't sweat it too much.
**Note: You could always try spicing up the phone conversation a bit if you find a lull in the conversation - wink wink, nudge nudge - lol

I don't think this is a bad thing. It may be a warning sign of other problems that are harder to express. I have been married to my husband for 6 years and he still doesn't talk on the phone that well. He has a hard time concentrating on the phone and when he could only call me for a few weeks from a pay phone it was torture for him, because he hates to sit still.

I feel the same way you do. I don't even own a cell phone for that reason. I find talking on the phone is so boring. Always did.

its nothing to worry about. my bf and i have been together for 2 years and have pretty much never had a phone convo longer then 10 min. We only talk to get a point across etc never just to chat since neither one of us is a good phone talker and nothing is wrong with our relationship....its what you guys are like together that counts.
