I asked the quesion about the type of pit I was getting from my uncle. I didnt once say that the dog was in my possession.Maybe people should read a little deeper than they think they did. I have got several responses and I have yet to recieve an answer. Nothing but criticism where there is none due. I have not got the puppy from my uncle thats why I said I have a picture of it. Now maybe people will answer the question and stop trying to make derogitory atatements on something they know nothing about. Now can anyone tell me anything about the Bensmar bloodline that I had previously asked about.

I have never heard of that bloodline in Pits, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. In my area the big bloodlines are Gator and Gotti (in the Midwest). I would ask the breeder about it and see if you can get the dogs' names in the pedigrees, and then google the names. It is surprising how many pictures of dogs that you can find that are related to your dog.

i never heard of that bloodline. i just wanted to say something in defense of the breed. not all pits are bad. it is in how their owners raise and train them. i have seen one owner whoe fought his dogs (he ended up in a texas jail for mureder of a doctor) and i have been in the same yard with a pit female who had pups about 3 weeks old. never saw the dog before. a friend was watching her. she was the most loving dog. she kept coming to me then going to her pups as if to say aren't they cute. i sat there with her and petted the pups. also knew a guy who had a pit that was a big baby. (the dog not the guy) our neighbor had one that was the best dog. he see us pull in,jump the fence, jump in our car and either lick you to death or beat you with his tail. so it is in how you raise them. it's not fair to judge a breed because of the acts of a few irresponsible owners. people don't like it when they are judged by race, sex or religion. don't do it to a dog either

I get that, too. People are so quick to judge and give their pointless opinions.

I'm sorry, but I didn't ready your first question, so I couldn't answer it.
