Your answer may change the rest of my life...?

Question

Well kinda sorta, it's really not that big of a deal, but I have to do something called a senior project for my English 12 class. I have to write a 8-10 page paper, get 15 hours with a mentor, do a 8-10 minute speech/presentation and make a portfolio. I'm given the option of choosing any topic of my choice to do this project on. It can be about anything from a future career to a hobby.

I honestly have no clue what topic to choose, so......

What do you guys think I should do my Senior Project on?

At my old school, we had something like that. There are all sorts of things you can do! I know one kid was interested in architecture and sports, so he designed an environment-friendly football stadium - he even made a little model. One of my friends recorded tracks for a rock opera. Someone wrote a play, someone took movies and substituted the movie soundtrack for one of their own to see if it would change the tone of the movie. Some other projects were: party planning, a pirate novel, the study of dance in musicals, etc.

I hope those helped, I tried to include a variety to sort of spark your imagination. Anyway, like the others have said, make sure its something you're passionate about! ...But now that I reread your question... not many of them involve a mentor. At least, not one easy to find. You could, if you like kids, volunteer at an elementary school or something and pick one kid and chart his/her progress intellectually. And the teacher would be your mentor. Good luck!

What means the most to you? If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be? Do a project on that. If you aren't passionate about your subject, it'll flop.

do it on ur passaion, mine is the stock market. do it on a career u have in mind
