My daughter is turning two in February. Her theme is Barney. Does anybody have any fun ideas to add to the party to make it interesting?

A Barney fan humm... well good for her. Maybe, you could have a family friend rent a customer and dress up as Barney. You can have Pin-the-tail on Barney. They also sell little toddler games at like Walmart and Toys-r-us. I don't know though, they maybe a little to advanced for 2-year-olds. And you can go to Party City or some party place and find Barney party favors, easily. You can even get a Pinyada (however it is spelled) but don't blind the 2 year-olds. After all, they already have bad enough aim. Maybe they can hit it. Don't stress too much over the party though b/c she won't remember it. But you want to take pictures so when she is like 10, she can look back at them. Good luck!

Barney Birthday Party

My daughter had a Barney-themed party for her second, too! We had a big Barney balloon and she loved that. Then I made a Barney cake which was also a big hit. We played the "I Love You" game and everyone danced along and held hands and sang the song. The kids loved doing the kissing and hugging parts. I made big Barney footprints out of purple construction paper. I put yellow toes. Then I taped them to the floor and the kids did a scavenger hunt by following the prints. The kids enjoyed it. There were prizes for everyone. I found cute Barney stuffed magnets for the refrigerator on eBay and they were favors in the party bags. We played a Barney video on the TV and the kids did the If You're Happy and You Know It to the video. Good luck!

jumpy things seem always to be a hit around here. I'd look for Dino cake pan or some light Barney toy top a cake or Dino rings to top cup cakes. if you find small cookie cutters in Dino shapes I would use them to cut then sliced veggie or cheese. I have a set of shapes that I got from pampered chief a while back but are of 4 left covers, Christmas trees and hearts. I would print out some coloring pages and let the kids color. make or buy play dow. Try to have fun with it.

The Barney decorations and theme, balloons and wrapping paper are probably all she needs to keep her attention...two is such a great age and such an easy to please age. I would play some fun kids music - or Barney music and just keep her and any other kids you invite occupied with balloons or toys and of course cake and ice cream...that is all you need and chances are other than the photos you take she won't remember the entertainment you had or didn't have at the party anyway.

first off anyone who says no barney get a life kids love him and since i figure it is something your daughter loves not something your pushing down her throat then she will just love the decor i work with 4 two year olds 1 three year olds and have worked in a two year old room for over a year at a school and many of them loved barney! so maybe do something age appropriate if she is having a few friends her age over when my daughter turned 2 we had finger painting (use vanilla pudding and color it with food coloring so it is kid safe) and play dough(home made kind is cheap and easy and safe if eaten) and with large toddler beads or the fruit flavored Cheerios for a cute fun and healthy snack or with dyed noodles( box of noodles not cooked half a bottle of rubbing alcohol and food coloring several drops to color shake till noodles are covered drain out liquid and place on paper towels till dry) that have big holes for stringing they can make a necklace all this with plenty of adult supervision! you just tell the parents we are going to do some messy fun things so please dress appropriately! find plain you decorate party hats usually can find them at oriental trading co they are pretty cheap and let them put stickers on them kids love them! there are also a lot of fun music and movement music tapes for kids out there that sing cute songs an tell them to jump like a frog, hop like a bunny, bark like a puppy and so on! so even if she wont remember it they will have a fun time doing stuff that is totally "2"!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tr.im/05juU

If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.

It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.

I agree with takikio 100 percent. I never went all out with my kids. I have 4. They had cake and that was it. They had their normal healthy dinners. Guess what. My kids are very healthy and have great eating habits. Oh and Ryans mom. Your a complete *****. I bet you and your kids are obese.

make cup cakes and ice with purple icing and find green sprinkles of some sort....purple edible playdoh ( there are many different recipes--but it's safe if kids eat it), yeah I'm out of ideas.

At age two, I would keep it simple for her. She'll love whatever you do. Happy Birthday!!
