i worked at lowes for two weeks in 06, i called to see if they had sent out W2's, and they said yes, and that i should have allready gotten one. i didnt tell them how long i worked there, do they have to send me a W2? do i still have to file taxes for only working there for 2 weeks?

you have to file taxes for every place you received a paycheck from. I would call Lowes and inform them that you have not received your W2 and tell them the time frame you worked there. Good Luck

You should get W2's and you should have to pay even though it was only two weeks. Who knows you may get 5 bucks back or something. If you never receive them then you cannot do taxes without them so try not to worry about it. Maybe you did not make enough money to have to worry about it. I know if you work for AVOn which is a percentage profit you have to make 5,000 before you receive a W2 so maybe it is the same type of thing if you didn't make 5,000 then you don't have to.

only if you made more than $600 in those 2 weeks will you receive a W2 for filling taxes of course that is in Pa I'm not sure of any other state.

If you only worked there two weeks and didn't have any other income for the year, then you probably didn't make enough to have to file. But if you had other jobs too, or a filing a joint return, then this one has to be added to the rest.

Yes, they have to send you a W-2, even if you only worked there for 2 weeks.

Yes, you have to wait for you W2 unless the total of ALL of your jobs is under the filing requirement.
