Guys should pay in the beginning of the relationship, but girls should be able to pay for thing as the relationship goes along. Like, he buys dinner and she buys dessert later. Or he pays for the movies and she pays for the drinks and popcorn. She can make him dinner, pick up little things that she'll know he enjoys, that kind of thing. It's important that both people show their appreciation of each other.

I think the guy should pas the first ten dates, after that, the girl and the guy can share the bill but the guy should still pick up the bill from time to time, for example on special occasions.

I'm a staunch believer in dutching. The bill must be split at all times. Women can earn their own money now, so why not show it?
