The best way to resolve this question for yourself is to purchase brand new batteries of Duracell and Energizer, use it on two objects of the same kind. Make sure all parameters are equal, e.g., date of manufacture/expiration of batteries, objects to be used are of same make, age, and type, etc. Turn both objects on and let them run continuously until one of them stops. Whichever brand was on the object that continued to operate after the other object stopped operating is the longer-lasting brand.
