I don't know. When I heard that, I just felt like he was honoring the commitment but wasn't really interested in being with me.

Just because he met someone he feels he likes more than you does not mean that she is reciprocating. If she reciprocated his feelings, he more than likely would have ended the relationship with you. As such, I think that you should end it. Why should you be his 2nd choice. I hope you feel that you are worth more than that.

Ur both too young to even be together. Let him go & if he wont, u go & find someone ud rather be with than him. I'm sure u can find 1. (Aren't u tired, after 2 years of his shallowness? Why would u wanna keep "going with" somebody like that? Ur not married, r u ? What kinda contract do y'all have? There's nothing NOBLE about that kind of "commitment." If u stay together, u both need 2 b "commmited" 2 a nut house.

Its like you're a tool he is just using until he finds a better one.
I think he likes this other girl, but she doesnt like him back so he decided to stick with you.

what did he expect you to do when he said that.....be nice about it?
i don't think so. if you let him get away with something like this now, your going to have major, more important issue to deal with later on down the road in your relationship.
