Digital drawings are more accurate, "drafting" is faster, easy storage, filing and retrieval, revisions made on the design is made faster, etc....

I am not sure they always are. As an engineer, I always tried to let the draftsmen do the drafting, but I found that put a time delay between my idea and a quick delivery of quantity one from the shop. Sped it up by putting a drafting table in my office. Big one. As one of my colleagues pointed out "the paper has lines on it and you can freehand a simple drawing in a few seconds". Also I found working with a screen that was naturally 48 inches across was different from looking at on a CRT and having to pan and zoom all the time. Hard to keep the "whole" of it in mind.
The really big advantage of digital drafting is in storage and transmission. I can go from a circuit diagram to a delivered PC board in 24 hours without leaving my desk. Also allows others to contribute to a large design in a networked situation.

In digital drawing you can "undo" at will, which is not the case intechnical sketches.

more accurate,size, can print more then one, u can do some analysis, can convert to 3D, time, cost, but before using digital drwing that person must have basic of manual drwg... if that person already expert, he /her can drwg more faster n less mistake....
type of software i was learning, all of autoCAD version from r10 - autocad 2005, CATIA V16, MasterCAm X, Solid Work,HyperWorks, AutoCAD LT, ............. all this software is easy to learn..... TQ
