There is nothing wrong with your age range. Just to be sure though ask the girl's parents for permission to date her. Show them you respect her and that you are a gentleman. Don't get smart with them and don't show off. Most likely if you take this approach her parents will say, "yes".
Some states have a 4 year difference in ages for sexual contact others have a 5 year difference concerning underage sexual activity. you might also check your state and see what the statute is. Just to be safe.

If I found out you were with my daughter who is 14 and still a child, I would make sure you never showed up anywhere near her.
You are an adult now, find an adult girlfriend, for whom you have more in common with. You know alot more than a 14 year old child.
Go out with an 18 + please and leave the babies alone, until they are old enough to make their own decision. legally thats 18.
