Are these two seperate taxes or both the same just split up?

FICA-OASDI are social security taxes (Old Age and Survivors Disability Insurance). They take 6.2% of your earnings up to a certain amount each year. FICA-HI is Medicare (Health Insurance). They take 1.45% of all of your earned income.
