Yes they do, unless they aren't shallow. But of course if your in the mall you wont be checking out all the hideously ugly guys, your most likely going to notice the attractive ones first. Everyone cares about looks if they know it or not.

First impression yes...
But I guess if you know them, it doesn't really matter anymore, they'll probably be the most attractive person the guy's met, but if she doesn't get along, the guy wont even bother talking to her...
It all comes back to personality.
