It is said that the Iraqi army still can not hold or take major areas without US tanks, air support, and logistics. But do they need support because they lack the hardware to fight? Or, to keeps come credibility for an army drowing in corruption, and infiltration by death squads and malitiamen?

You need to pay better attention. The Iraqi Army has taken responsibility for the security of over half the Iraqi provinces.

And you need to remember that we would not have won our independence without the help of foreign troops.

The Iraqi people need time to gain the ability to defend themselves and their elected government.

I say we give it to them - otherwise we condemn 23 million people to the hands of the people who mortared a school yesterday.
