There are many ways in which the "hymen" can be broken. Heavy lifting at a young age. Horseback riding. A fall of a boy's bike. Even in some cases, using a Tampon. But, in most cases, when the Hyman is broken for the first few times, blood appears. I advocate "no sex" until marriage. Be safe at least and always "wrap up". Did you know that you can get an STD from exactly your question. The hands are one of the "dirtiest" parts of the body.

It depends on who you ask, really.... in my opinion, you're a virgin until you have sex (either vaginal or anal, unless you're a lesbian, then it gets complicated lol)
