It was hot and steamy. We liked the same kind of music, liked the same kind of out doors sports and generally shared the same circles of friends. However in the light of day I would feel old Im 52 and he is 37 and I found him too hard to talk to. I am heart broken now but I believe it was not the age gap. Are there others out there in the same boat.

The same boat as far as my partner / boyfriend being 15 years younger that me...I am 45 and he will turn 30 next week. We don't like the same music and share only a few friends, mostly have our own lives...our ages don't matter a bit...DO NOT FEEL OLD...if he made you feel that way, then it is on him, not you. We have been together for 6 years and have a 3 year old daughter together (yes, I was 42 when she was born; my only child) and now we can offer 2 generations of experience to her! Its a crazy world, love shouldn't have an age barrier!

Same I'm 44 he's 30, have a lot of similar tastes and a lot of our own interests. He's a bit of a rough diamond but always a gentleman.

With any relationship, the initial spark of electricity settles down into a steady routine and all relationships take effort to keep them fresh and make them work, regardless of any age or age difference. Whilst my relationship is only 2 years old it's future remains to be seen but we have not had one argument, still tell each other 'I love you" and communicate without judgement.

He also has two children from a previous marriage, I have one and she prefers him over her own father, who never had time to keep in contact with her.

wow...I thought I was bad with my crush being 8 months younger than me and also in the grade below me. But I guess it doesn't really matter when you get older. I don't think age should limit love so if you love this man then go out & get him!
