Well, we can't be nuns! But with me-a True Christian-I set aside around a half hour a day to read the Bible and meditate God's word. And of course, I go to Church every Sunday and to youth group on Wednesday.
To all of you born again believers who don't have enough "time" to read the Bible and talk with God: have you considered Joshua 1:8? It says that you will be "prosperous and successful" if you "meditate on this book of the law (the Bible) day and night." So, basically, if you consistently read God's word and apply it to your life, you will be prosperous and successful! I know I'am! I LOVE life!!!

wouldn't such a question be better phrased, "why don't we give all the time given us to Our Father"? Father Help! and HE does..
is that not a willing servant's heart?
"The Messiah was a servant of The Only True GOD" and He desired above all else, "Father, not My will, But THY Will Be Done"!
is not such a desire "The Way to The Truth of The Life"?

Society is structured such that it's near impossible to devote enough time, it's a sad fact. However, even a little effort to remember God and serve Him is fine, no need to join a monastery. It just needs to be done in good faith.

Why don't religious people give the time in which they normally eat, to God.
After a month the world will suddenly become a much saner place.
Of course, if you mean Jehovah/Yahweh/Allah, save some time for Shiva, Zeus, Baal and all the other gods or they'll be mad if they turn out to be the one true GOD.

You give time to God when you are good and helpful to other people. That means more to God, I'm sure, than anything else you could do to "give time" to him.

Well, if you live being good to and doing good for others and trying to avoid sin... then aren't you giving all of your time, your life to God?

The answer is simple: God is imaginary.
You sound like you actually think God is real. Aren't you aware of new evidence that has come out lately, which puts in serious doubt the existence a God?
Hey, hello? God is imaginary.

Wouldn't God want us to give our time to things like charity and service and being a good person instead?
