The thing that bugs me about some Christians - is they have a propensity to preach but not to listen. Evolution or god gave us two ears and one mouth. We should therefore use them in that ratio.
I am quite prepared to listen to any new argument, however, my participation is a two way street, and many Christians who want to convert me, simply do not have the background reading to support their own discursive lines, let alone start to understand my beliefs.

Well, I know quite a few Christians....and many of them are quite different.
I don't like how 'some' of them bash homosexuals, using the term "love the sinner, hate the sin". The only way anyone would use that line on someone else is if they hold a deep-seeded "interest" in the sex lives of others.
They shouldn't ever do that....because it reeks of dirty-mindedness.
True Christians don't have that kind of a dirty mind.

It really bugs me how they choose to believe in a book that was written over many years by many different people who never actually met each other. How can that be a reliable source?

Any tough questions are viewed as an ATTACK. They take great pride in shouting down 'opposition' rather than use reason. They close themselves of to critisizm and suppose every one is meant to view them as being privilaged people on the planet earth, while they accuse everyone else,who believes christianity is rubbish, of being filled with pride and arrogance. They often preach that people should listen more, when its themselves that need to do that more often than non christians. They suppose themselves to have the default way of life and then claim that every one KNOWS this is true. They suppose themseleves to have a monopoly on ethics and morals. When in REALITY, its the atheist words that 'cut like a double edge sword'.
And yes moderates, this includes you also.

that not all Muslims are terrorist. that sum Christians and Muslims accually get along. I don't like how the so-called "Christians" try to convert people and preaching. It's annoying. If I want to join your religion, I'll join it of my accord. Real Christians, like my friends, don't try to force me to be a Christian. I'm atheist, they don't care. We don't argue and disagree about each other's religion.
And I'd like to tell those so-called "Christians" about their preaching and attempted converting of everyone else. The use of "You're going to hell if you don't believe" is getting annoying. I'd like them to see how it's like when people are preaching to them and attempting to convert them and they don't want the people to do that. See how it feels, jerks!
