Car payments are for a loan, and not many lenders will take another form of loan (credit card) for payment.
However, if they have issued you convenience checks for the cc , then you can use one of those
BUT there are usually high fees attached to using them.

I'm pretty sure that you can't make your car "Monthly payment" with credit cards.
But you can use it for down-payment or buy a new car (if have enough credit line to cover all costs)

Otherwise, for some credit cards-companies, they offer some type of checks that you can use it to pay your debt like (car, mortgage,) and deduct it from your credit-card (credit line). However, mostly, the APR rate will be different.

Funny that you ask, I recently tried to make a car payment over the phone with my credit card and their would have been a charge of $12. I know, it doesn't sound like much but that big of a charge to tell someone my credit card numbers?!? I would suggest going to the bank and either getting a temporary check printed out or use a money order.

Credit cards can be used as a form of identification when applying for a major purchase, or when renting a car; and they can be used for convenient purchases that you won’t have to pay for until a month after you buy them.

Try anything you can to avoid it. You are going to pay at least double the interest on the payment. It may not sound like much, but it will not be the wisest thing to do.

Yeah, but that is not smart.....you borrowing from one account, to give money from another account. What happens when you max out your card? That should be done only as a last resort. Best of luck to you.
