It's like the difference between an ice cube and a glacier. The ice cube is cold, but it's gonna be gone in a while. The glacier is sticking around.

A crush can be anyone you think is funny or cute, but you're not serious about them. A soulmate is someone you know and love and plan of having a future with them.

A crush is usually the initial attraction you have to somebody. When you know that someone is your soulmate, you can picture spending the rest of your life with that person.
