First you'll have to become a regular doctor, then you go back to school to specialize as a pediatrician. You'd have a doctorate in medicine, so there's your major....and maybe minor in something like pharmacology. Best of luck to you.

Are you in the medical school now or in high school. If in high school then need work hard to get the good grad and apply to college, may need few year in college then looking for medical school. After 4 or more years and obtain an md degree then looking for internship then pediatric residency program,3 or more years in residence program then take pediatric board and be a board certified pediatrician.Be a pediatrician you need to like kids be very patient and observatory because very small kid can't tell you what's wrong with them.Good luck.
