The same history, being raised by the same standards, love. Day Care center atmosphere is "survival of the fittest". Too often these are the kids who are biting, fighting, selfish, and throwing tantrums.

There are a number of things that a toddler can learn from siblings and not daycare. First and foremost is the love of family. The bond of a brother or sister is huge - even if they disagree or fight among themselves, don't speak poorly of one to another because they will strongly defend the other. My son went to home daycare and he has continued on with one great friendship, but it is his sisters who are here daily to stand with him - help him and let him know which path we walk.

Hmmm that is an interesting question since I have an only child. Just about the only thing she didn't learn as a todder was how to effectively get that vein inmy forehead to stick out. She learned everything else a child with siblings learned...family history, values, ethics, sharing, through her mother and daycare.

Language development! It's very well known that subsequent children pick up language development faster then only children (even if the only child is in a school or daycare setting). They learn to speak from listening to their older siblings :) Pretty cool eh. I'm sure there's more but that's all i can think of :)

I have seven kids and I like to think every one of my kids have learnt something from the other. It is golden to watch them bond as siblings and to form alliances. When my 12yr old daughter got her heart broken by a guy her older brother 14 decided to have words with him on how to treat girls.....he would never have felt that protection over her if it hadnt been for the fact that they grew up together and know every little detail of eachother(almost).
It is hard to put into the words the value of sibling company but there is an understanding and likeness between them, they may grow as individuals but unite as a family.
If your kids have to be in day care it can't be helped but going through all the joys and horrors of childhood, puberty and adulthood with a sibling is magical.

They learn the love and bond that there is between a sibling. If they are older they learn that they will be there to protect them and love them. Siblings are special in many ways, in ways that children at pre-school and day care aren't. They learn other communication and social skills before they do when going to pre-school. Having siblings will help then learn to do things like share, play nicely, and even entertain themselves when they are alone.

I am not sure if it is what they learn or the bond they have with a sibling. I could not imagine my life without my older sister. We fought like cats and dogs growing up. But we were always there for each other when needed. Now that we are older we seriously talk like 5 times a day or more.My hubby always jokes that he married me and my sister.

do not provide that garbage contained in the first position. start up off with the healthy issues correct from starting up to provide solids, and not in any respect hotel to those junk ingredients. I actually have a cousin who at 5 years previous might want to choose a plate of spouts to a packet of goodies! i imagine that that is in the mothers and fathers skills to controll what the youngsters eat and in the adventure that they did not start up of with the poultry nuggets, then the youngsters does no longer want to eat them. in user-friendly words provide the healthy, hand-crafted issues, and be sure the youngsters see you eating the healthy stuff and enable them recognize how you savour it too. that is about it :)
