The best way to get blueberry pancakes is to sprinkle fresh blueberries in the pancake batter as it is cooking in the skillet. Blueberries are very fragile and juicy so limited handling is best to keep the juice in the berry and not end up with blue batter.

Of course. I did a few weeks ago though with another pancake mix. You can also use apples, bananas, semi-sweet chocolate chips . . . Fresh is probably better than frozen. And Cindy W is right about when to add them.
