No, of course not. It probably makes you feel like you're understood and that you're not all alone in the world and that there are others who are sad too.
Also, it could make you feel happy to help them and give them advice, advice that you wish someone would give to you. It sometimes makes people feel good that they're helping people who are stuck in the same rut they are~

Well a lot of people think things are funny when in reality they're not. I'll give you a fine example of that.
1. I'm laughing when bad weather is occuring, although I know it's nothing to be happy about.
2. Newscasters sometimes laugh at things that happen to folks in the news, you just may not catch it.
Basically, we're human, we do get happy about petty stuff that's meant to be sad.

My Dear if this is the only thing that truly makes you feel happy, I think you should throw yourself in to psychology. You can listen to people cry about their miseries all day long and get well paid for it to boot. Imagine how ecstatic a life you could lead while helping others. I think you'd make a wonderful psychologist because you enjoy helping them and do not enjoy their sadness. :)

Maybe it helps you feel like you're not alone. Everyone has problems. I don't think you're evil, but you are mixed up. You may be depressed. See your doctor.

It's all relative. You're complaining about your ugly shoes until you see a man with no legs.

I never complain. No one listens to you when you complain. The ones that do listen to you are the ones that want to hear you complain to begin with.
