I think global warming is the most important problem to face. I just can't believe there's some people who think it's a myth, I mean, we got proves it is a real fact. And it's not just statistics, we can feel it, we can see it. If we don't change now our way of living in about 50 years, our beautiful beautiful planet, with every living thing (humans encluded), will be just a memory.
About the immigration "problem", I think it's quite a bad thing to call it problem; i mean, we're all humans and we all were born in this planet; Why anyone should impose anybody where to live and where not to go? Anyone should be able to stay the place he likes the most.
If anyone here thinks that global warming it's not a problem sholud get more infos and than it will know the truth.

If they were to form a community on global warming, i would be more than happy to get in there and give my thoughts, but as this is the community for "immigration" i'll just have to wait. Thank you.

I worry about global warming but one person can't make a difference a lot of people often forget about it and mostly politicians can do something about it or lets say an entire country or at least 1/3 of the world's population sooner or later we'll be wearing only thin materials at the poles and the countries in the middle would be un inhabitant because of the scorching heat or it would be flooded!

"Let us eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow we die." I believe Solomon wrote this in the Bible, of course he wasn't promoting that idea, but rather criticizing those who live by those tenants.
Many people are concerned about global warming, but don't believe there is anything they can do to help prevent it. A lot of people also don't believe it is due to human activity, and so many of these people believe that there is simply nothing that can be done.
If global warming does happen to a catastrophic extent, then a large percentage of the population will die off, and there will likely be several resource wars. As long as nuclear exchanges are kept to a minimum, humanity will probably survive this, but it will be like the Black Plague.
One thing is clear though. The poor will bare the brunt of the fallout.

I am worried about global warming! Especially after I saw An Inconvenient Truth. For the people who said there is no problem or that the problem isn't immediate, don't kid yourselves. Tell that to the people who suffered through Hurricane Katrina (which would have been only a category 1 storm had it not crossed over the unusually warm water) or the polar bears who are drowning because the ice is melting beneath them. Open your eyes already.

Does Al Gore really believe in catastrophic global warming? Since Al Gore was offered the opportunity (in person) to facilitate serious debate on the underlying science of global climate change, 1 year, 3 weeks, 3 days, 6 hours, 35 minutes, and 30 seconds have elapsed.

We don't need to worry about Global Warming. If the sea levelsrise up, the great prophet Bush whom the Lord has anointed our ruler and master shall strech out his hand and the waters shall part befor him!
