My bedroom's theme is a bit Middle Eastern, but the pictures I've been choosing for it don't have anything to do with the room's decor so I really don't mind the theme much. I also would really like a cool, original way in which to arrange them in my walls. I'm on a tight budget so I can't spend much.

The art work does not have to "match" to look nice in your room. The colors in the pictures, however, should blend with or complement the colors you've used for bedding, walls, floor covering, furniture, etc.

You could use wall sconces, mirrors, shelves, plates, etc. in with the pictures to make a focal arrangement.

If you're on a tight budget (aren't we all?) check out yard sales, thrift stores, consignment stores, etc. for bargains. You'll be surprised at what you can find for little $$.

When I have a lot of things to hang and I am concerned about where to place them, I trace the shapes out on brown paper and tape them to the wall. I keep arranging until I get it perfect, then I put the actual pieces up This takes time, but it has saved me many a nail-hole patch job.

Since Middle Easter colours are usually earthy tones, you could get a pice of earth toned colour that complements yor room and use that as a sort of back-drop and hang the pictures over it.

You could also purchase inexpensive burlap fabric, warp a piece of cardboard about four inches larger on each side than your picture and mount your picture on that card boatd before mounting that on the wall.
