Bingo.
Very few of the Christians here have any faith in their beliefs. I think that you've hit the nail squarely on the head with these comments. A faithful believer would understand that there is no evidence - let alone proof - for their belief in God, and would believe nonetheless.
But such a believer would have to admit that there was no basis then for him or her to attack and insult and argue here with we nonbelievers...and most of the believers here are FAR more interested in attacking and insulting and arguing than they are in having faith in God.

Christianity is based on blind faith, the willingness to accept things are true and factual without proof. You do not need factual evidence to have faith, just the ability to believe something for no other reason than you want to.
Therefore if you try to debate your religion with those who require proof that the claims you make are valid, you have no facts to argue with.
So the common Christian argument is. I know I am right because I want to believe I am, you prove me wrong., knowing that it is impossible to prove a negative.
Example :- If I tell you that I believe that Dragons are real and live on a planet orbiting Betelgeuse, how can you prove me wrong. Especially when you know when we eventually get to Betelgeuse and find there is no such planet I will just claim that 'the Dragons saw us coming and moved the planet somewhere else'.

I never try to argue or prove God's existence. I always just say what I believe. Like if I say, I prayed, then suddenly they will say Who did you pray to? and add There is no God. Then if I say Well, I know there is because I pray to Him and He answers my prayers, then I am called a liar. I'm to old to spend my time arguing and trying to prove something that is God's problem not mine. My job is to just tell people that I believe in God and that Jesus is the way to Him. If they want to argue about it they can go argue with someone else. They can call me an ignorant liar but it won't change the fact that God is real in every aspect of my own true existence and I rely on Him and Him alone in it.

It just isn't a valid argument, which is what atheists like me are trying to say. No matter how many times I say it, it's the same thing, "You're going to Hell for not having faith that what is written in this ancient book is true." I know the definition of "faith". I am a scholar. It is belief in that which is not proven, and the common justifications for it, mainly the Argument from Personal Experience, are not valid.
It gets frustrating when you encounter so much of this, not just on sites like this, but in your private life, especially when you had to put up with religious threats and abuse throughout your entire childhood and all you want to see is even one person wake up and say, "Hey, wait. That is, in fact, explained by science."

Have you ever notice when trust exists in a relationship, almost everything else is easier and more comfortable to achieve. Your total life experiences develops your current
capacity and willingness to risk trusting others.
God is a result of Human desire, Human needs and Human projection and that these explain even the personal experience of God more rationally than the conclusion that God really exists.

Because they think that their religious beliefs are truths and they see that if you don't believe then you have nothing to live for. Also they think that to follow Christ is the only path but they fail to realize and contorted his teachings have become. They also miss the point that Jesus wasn't even a Christian and that the religion was formed years after his death!

I think your understanding of faith is wrong. It sounds like you think faith means to believe something without proof. Actually it doesn't mean that at all.
We BELIEVE in God based on personal experience. God has revealed Himself to us in our hearts and minds, we have a relationship with him. Belief is based in facts that we can see.
Faith is what we need to move forward. It's trusting that when we hear God speak, it's really Him. Faith is what allows us to take the next step, then once we take it, it becomes belief. God asks for our faith - our willingness to take the steps that He lays out in front of us. Faith gets stronger the more you do it because you know that God was there last time, so your chances that He'll be there again seem stronger.
Belief in God is not salvation, faith is. The devil believes in God, but it doesn't get him into heaven. Those who get in are those who hear God's voice and follow it. That's faith.

And they want atheists to PROVE that God doesn't exist. You can't just tell them that you take it on FAITH that he doesn't. They will say how do you KNOW?? You must be agnostic not atheist. Silly really.

Because science scares the hell out them. Truth and enlightenment are their true Satans, and they must be discredited and destroyed before religions’ ignorant flocks of followers wise up – and quit handing over their money.

Personal experience that cannot be observed and measured is not proof. You are free to believe what you want. However, you are not free to pretend that there is anything objective, observable, empirical, or scientific about your beliefs.

In organized religion, "faith" is the word they use, when they can't answer a question. They say - you must have faith.
